Study the stone
We read the business before we touch a pixel: constraints, audience, the shape already latent in the brief.
Draw the form
Structure, type, and system laid down first. The interface exists on paper before it exists in code.
Carve
Build in public with the client, cutting away what does not serve the form. Precision over speed.
Finish and set
Detail passes, performance, accessibility. The piece is not done until it holds up under close light.
What We Need From You
A workshop is a two-sided process. The pace and precision above depend on what you bring to it.
A decision-maker
Someone who can approve a direction without routing it through a committee first. Consensus design is where good work goes to get diluted.
Real material
Actual copy, actual product data, actual constraints. A brief built on placeholder content produces a placeholder site.
Honest reactions
Tell us what's wrong and why, as soon as you see it. Silence followed by a rewrite request costs both of us the time we thought we saved.

Once a direction is set, let us cut. Second-guessing mid-build is how a precise piece turns into an assembled one.
